Sincere sympathies to Brother Bosco's family, the Capuchin community and the staff at Ards. May he rest in eternal peace
— Paul Moynihan
I already left a condolence, but just to let people know, Bosco was the only Capuchin in Irish History to hold the rank of 3rd Dan Black Belt, he was the first ever, and to make it even more special he passed his 1st Dan in 1989 trained by me, I was 15 years old, no one in the history of martial arts ever achieved what we achieved in the world. It was repeated when he passed his 2nd Dan in 1991 when we both took the exam together, I trained him again and taught myself and we both passed on the same day I was 19, three years later he passed again trained by me as a 2nd Dan aged 22 making history, I passed 6 months later. It has never been done or attempted by anyone since. I knew Bosco 37 years, I am now 50. We kept in contact for many years, I loved this man like a Dad I never had he was a very kind generous person and I am going to miss him very much.

My condolences to Br. Bosco's community and family. Iwas so sorry to hear of his departure from this life. Unfortunately I didn't hear the news before his funeral which I would love to have attended. He was so warm and welcoming when one entered the door of Ards. He had a kind word for everyone and will never be forgotten. A great Kilkennyman and son of St. Francis! May he rest in peace and enjoy his eternal reward.

Deepest sympathy to Thomas, Margaret, Kay, Nell and Ned and extended Connolly family. Bro. Bosco's legacy was a life lived in imitation of Christ, and from Heaven, he will now intercede for all people, especially his close family and relations, including me Richard's first cousin, I was privileged to have his dear Mother, R.I.P., Aunt Maggie, as my God Mother and always remember, in particular, her abundance of generosity to me and my family.
