My sincerest condolences to both families on the passing of Bryan. Thinking of you at this sad time.

Its a long time since National School but the memories are fixed. He was a great pal. There was always a ball, soccer, rugby, whatever. There were the Murphy's & the Allen's, David Smith and the rest from the Moyne. The craic at Halloween! Ruby & David's garden was the first golf course we played on and what fun we had. There was Boys Brigade run by Sidney and Joe and the BB soccer with Meredith. Mini Rugby in ERFC from the age of 8 with John Chapman and David Rafter. Everything we did back then Bryan & Graham were in the centre of it.
We all moved on for a while but reunited as young men for a spell of 2nds rugby. Good times with more good lads. Some say youth is wasted on the young. I don't think that applies - I am privileged to have had Bryan as a pal in my youth. He was a gentleman, may the sod lie lightly upon him.
