Hi Dara n family, i don't know you or your family, i do have a keen interest in aviation. I am absolutely lost for any type of words with what happened, and it happened on my birthday. I am still trying to say what i feel but i really cant . Tears are still running down my face, my wife is trying to explain but it won't work because it just does nt make sense. Tanx, a friend.

The sadness of this tragic accident has overwhelmed the nation. To the family, friends and colleagues of Captain Dara Fitzpatrick and her crew, I send my deepest sympathy. To all those involved in the Rescue services who risk their own lives in the work they do to save others, we can never thank you enough. Ireland has lost national treasures.

I have been a friend of Paul Ormsby,s for years he thought very highly of Dara and her babay and all your family would like to offer my sincere heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your beautiful daughter Dara, I am devastated over Paul,s loss and each member of the team,he was such an honorable person, kind and compassionate, I hope and pray they will find them all soon. I keeping saying oh God how did this happen, however, God is good . You are all very brave people and I know God will bless you in every possible way.

As a bereaved mum of a newborn little man, I am mindful of how very hard it is for a family to suffer such heartbreak twice in a lifetime. You have two beautiful daughter's and sisters watching over you all from above, Dara and baby Anna are shining brightly on you and will give you strength and love to face each new day as they come and help guide little Fionn as he grows.
