My deepest sympathy to Pasquale, Danny, Angela, Philomena, Frances and Majella on the sudden passing of Carmel.
I had the pleasure of working with Carmel in Colaiste Mhuire Co- Ed, and saw first hand her sincerity, kindness and dedication to all
students in her care. Carmel had a lovely warm personality with a smile and word for everyone in the school community, and many times a very welcome coffee arrived at my desk.
Carmel spoke about her wish to visit the Holy Land many times, and I'm so glad Carmel got her wish.
Carmel leaves a huge void in all your lives. I will be keeping you all in my prayers.

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting with Carmel on our recent trip to the Holy Land…she was such a beautiful person who shared lovely stories of her life split between England and Ireland, her partner Pasquale, her siblings and her darling grandnieces and nephews…her stories were heartwarming and her love for traveling reflected in her unrivaled knowledge of history and world events. I have wonderful memories of Carmel which I will always treasure and that most beautiful and unforgettable smile which she always wore.
