I only learned of Kathy's passing this evening in Killina Church and I was so sorry to hear of her death. Always friendly, always engaging, Kathy had great vivacity. She was a talented teacher and a great debater and public speaker in her Macra days. Many's the lift she gave me to school as a young fella. I always enjoyed meeting her in Casey's Circle K and she'd always be on for a long and meaning chat...& you'd the considerably better for that. May her gentle and lovely soul rest in peace...
