My deepest sympathy to Margot, Anne, Michael, Ronnie and all Catrina's extended family and many close friends. I worked with her many years ago in Crumlin hospital, and she was full of fun, but with a passion for helping the families she cared for to the highest standards. I learned so much from her, especially her ability to help families rise to the enormous challenges they faced, regardless of their circumstances or resources.

My heartfelt condolences to Catrina’s family , partner and friends. Catrina lit up every room she walked into...., her light shone brightly. I worked with her in Crumlin and she left her mark indelibly in the hearts of those she cared for.... so deeply and with such love and humor. She was generous, kind and such fun to be with - so quick witted and the world will shine a little less brightly in her absence.

My sincere sympathy to Catrina's siblings, Ronnie & and much loved family on her sudden passing. I still can't believe this wonderful, kind, fun loving & dynamic spirit is no longer with us. I met Catrina in NY & I Thank God for the wonderful memories. Ronnie you completed her life & just recently she shared with me ..you were the love of her life! I was extremely shocked to hear of Catrina's untimely passing. Sincere sympathies to Ann, Margo, Michael, Orla, Iain, Kate, Nell, Ella and Chloe. I have many great memories of times spent with her during family holidays in Ballyferriter. She was fantastic company. Her quick wit and great sense of humour are what I remember most. Today I am so very sad and shocked to hear that Catrina has passed. My sincere sympathies to Ronnie and to her family. She always had a smile for everyone , a positive attitude and a vivacious laugh. I can still see her standing up at our 40th school reunion and being the first, of course, to relate a hilarious story of our school days. If Catrina was hosting in Woodview we were always guaranteed a good night of food and laughs. Rest in Peace.

Deepest sympathies to Catrina's partner and family. I was shocked to hear of her unexpected death. She was such a lovely, kind and vibrant woman. I worked in the Family Welfare Conference Service from 2005 to 2007. Catrina was my supervisor. She was always so encouraging and supportive.

Catrina was my supervisor last year In Clanwilliam, so it was through her that I was introduced to the world of family therapy. I think I can say that Catrina made a lasting impression on all 6 of us first years, and we looked forward to our sessions with her. In particular we remember her warmth but above all her wonderful sense of humour. May she rest in peace.

We often met Catrina, when she was visiting her good friend, Kathleen, in Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry. What a warm and generous spirit she was. We got to know her well over the years and are so sorry to hear of her death. May she Rest in Peace.

Wow wow wow. Catrina is my mom's first cousin. I was blessed to have met her on a number of occasions since my return from New York in 2010. I instantly felt like I clicked with her. She was so loving and positive with a can do attitude and that's why I loved her. I admired her energy and how she would give you her time no matter what age you were. She gave my daughter Abi rosary beads from Medugoire for her Holy Communion 5 years ago which was very special. Until Catrina funeral just now I didn't not know the ins and outs of Catrina's life but I felt she was incredible. After hearing everyone speak and reading others condolences I feel very grateful to have had a sprinkle of Catrina in my life. How does a Great person become even Greater in death. I am so inspired by you Catrina. May you rest peacefully.

It is hard to believe that Catrina has left us they say the that the star that Burns so bright only shines for half as long how true, in these strange times. We find ourselves living in now her passing makes it feel even more strange Catrina lived life and always seem to be happy and enjoying it we all need to take a page out of her book. The pity is not that life is so short but takes so long to start living it. Tonight look to the sky find the brightest star and remember the good times we all spent with her. I was lucky to have crossed paths with Catrina a number if times and she has always inspired and energised me with her enthusiasm and encouragement.
She had a wonderful sense of fun and compassion for people. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to her family and those that were closest to her.

Catrina was such a wonderful woman in so many ways - lit up every room she entered and was always the life and soul of the party. Catrina was not only hilarious (I remember her charming all Kate and Dan’s wedding guests) but also a very warm and kind soul, who had the most infectious laugh - never a dull moment whilst in Catrina’s presence! A true lady and a very special person that her goddaughter Kate looked up to very much and who Catrina cherished, very much as her own daughter from our many conversations over the years of being friends with Kate. I can't begin to describe the impact Catrina has had on me - both personally and professionally.
