Cecil's father and mine worked together in the Munster& Leinster Bank in Cork in the 1950's and sixties and their sons worked together when we joined as partners in Touche Ross and later Deloitte & Touche in the 1990's. We had a little back story of our own.
Cecil was a gentleman of the highest integrity and always pleasant company. May he rest in peace

I’ll always remember Cecil with great affection as a wonderful mentor when I was one of the very few women in our profession. He had old style values which made him a gentleman with a rock solid ethical lens.
