Missing Dad so very much...
Dad was a kind man, a gentleman.
He left Cappoquin in the 1950s in his teens to go to England for work like so many of his peers...
A hard working man, he provided for those he loved, his family, my mom, Ellen and I..whom he brought back to Ireland in the 1970s..
Dad then worked for the builders that built our new home...he wasnt afraid of work and could put his hands to anything...(mary and dad built a house in the 1980s!)...He finally got his deserved job in Pfizers , where he was very involved and stayed their until he retired in his fifties....even then Dad kept busy every day, home improvements in the beautiful home he made for Mary.Golfing, sailing holidays abroad, family meals, all things Dad worked hard for and deserved....
He has left people knowing what a true gentleman he was, and is such a great loss..
