As a young child, I always looked forward to visiting my cousins Tony and Chris in Howth. We spent many happy hours together throughout our childhood and early teenage years and I was always sorry to leave. Even then, Chris was a kind, considerate and gentle boy with a great sense of humour and a ready smile. Those days are very fond memories and I often think of them. During a very brief visit some 25 years later, I could see that Chris, now married to Yvonne and a father to Stephen and Aislinn, was a very happy man indeed. He still had his rare gift of sharing his happiness with everyone around him.
Only time separates us from such happy days and time cannot change our memories. Rest in peace Chris.
