I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Christina who I met when she first came to Scoil Mhuire and I was beginning secondary school as a first year student. Over the school years she taught me history and Irish. Christina was a great and dedicated teacher and has left many happy memories. May she rest in peace. Condolences to Christina's family.

My sincerest condolences to the Fox family on the passing of Christina. I had the great privilege of both sharing a flat and working alongside Christina as a teaching colleague in Scoil Mhuire. Her utmost dedication, kindness, integrity and quiet wisdom in both personal and professional capacities made Christina a very special lady. It takes a special unique quality to positively touch and enrich so many lives - Christina had that quality in abundance. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Deepest sympathies to the Fox family during this difficult time. Christina lodged with my parents for many years and was the best lodger so unobtrusive and respectful of our family space. It was also wonderful to have a presence in our house when we had fled the nest we knew that Christina was there in the event of a crisis. Beloved Leitrim always called Christina back and she was all about family and home. A passionate Irish teacher who gave me maths and Irish grinds and had endless patience. A brave fighter to the end. Great to have known Christina. RIP.
