To Mary and her family, very sad to have heard the news about Chris' passing. He brightened every single day in our little office at Moravia, he was such an amazing gentleman and always fun to be around. I will never forget Chris' kindness, he always had coffee ready in the morning, and always at hand to share his wealth of experience and give advice. We had so much fun at our sushi nights with the rest of our colleagues, we miss him. You will always be remembered, rest in peace, Chris.

To the McCarthy family, I was so sorry to hear of Chris’ passing.
Since I first worked with him at Berlitz and right up to our time together in Moravia, Chris was always the epitome of a caring professional gentleman. He was my role model for how to manage life after retirement from full-time work. The world was better for his presence.

We were so sorry to hear on the passing of Chris , we have very fond memories of him when we were growing up in Ardglas and the many afternoons we spent playing computer games in the front room . will be sadly missed .

A few years ago I was playing the 17th hole in WBGC with Chris when he asked me if I’d ever had a “Golden Ferret” which I didn’t understand??
He explained it was when you holed out from a green side bunker in one shot. I said no & Chris teed off straight in to a bunker from where he unbelievably holed out in one so I applauded & said “Chris I got it there was no need for the DEMO as well!!” He will be sadly missed by all & was a true Gentleman RIP🙏

I would like to send my sympathies to Mary and the McCarthy family. It was a great shock to hear of his sudden passing. He was a true gentleman and our paths crossed regularly in Woodbrook.
