Was so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Christy , my thoughts are with his family and loved ones ,of whom there are many. Christy was a lovely man, a true gentleman.. Every time I came in the door on Fri night he would say my name , shake my hand ( and I mean every time ) when myself , Davy Byrne, and Paddy murtagh turned up to play darts on a Fri night in Ruby's , and then throughout the night he would stop to gently mock us as he headed to the gents, all in good humour of course,because he was a gentleman , a good friend , and a sad loss to any one who enjoys good company. I know I won't pass by his favourite spot without thinking of him , Ruby's won't feel the same ever again. Missed by all his friends from the darts room. Goodbye to our friend. May he rest in peace.
