Saddened to hear of the passing of Chris. We knew Chris from using the gym and working in the aquatic centre, he would always offer tips and advice in the gym, he will be sadly missed RIP

My deepest condolences to the family of Chris on his sudden passing. I trained alongside Chris on the Irish Wheelchair/Paralympic Team. Chris was a powerhouse for the Irish team and was an inspiration for so many, he will be truly missed and his spirit will last forever, may he rest in peace 🙏

I’ve known Chris since I started going to the NAC over 18 years ago. He was a true gentleman, the face and spirit of the gym. His spin classes were amazing and he always enthused with energy. I worked with Chris for many years in The NAC, he was a helpful funny and very determined guy who had great enthusiasm for his job. He always had a smile for everyone, I remember he loved his holidays, a very hard person to forget in such a good way. May he rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of Chris’s passing. It’s hard to fathom, Chris was so full of life, positivity, mischief, fun, kindness, compassion. He was living his best life and honestly he was the best of humanity. I met him in the National Aquatic Centre and saw him several times a week for many years. He always had a friendly word; a smile and the craic. My deepest condolences to Chris’s family, I can imagine the loss is immense for those who have been lucky enough to be part of this exceptional man’s life. Codladh Samh Chris, you will be missed but never forgotten.

The gym will not be the same without Chris, he always had time to say hi and give some encouragement.
