We had a great opportunity of meeting with Christy in the summer when the entire ‘Hussey Clan’ held a reunion in Cahir, our ‘Ancestral Home’. Tommy did a great job in getting us all together where Christy was in great form and at the centre of many conversations throughout.

The sad news is a shock for me- we were students together for 18 years of our lives - played hurling and handball together - all our formative years were shared as friends and rivals . Christy was specially talented and original in his personality and full of integrity.
