Mary, John and Brian and all the Kane family, our deepest sympathy on Christy's death. We will feel his loss deeply in Highfield. The country is indebted to Christy and his work colleagues who made all of our lives so much better. We will miss our good, cheerful and musical neighbour and we are grateful for his long uplifting and inspiring life.

We are very sad to learn of the death of Christy Kane. Christy was the Kane family historian. He contributed so much information to the website.
Many years ago we found old Kane pictures in the Kane house in Astoria. We brought them to Aunt Marie Albert hoping she could identify them. She put us through to Christy who she said knew everything about the Kane family and could surely help us. I sent him the pictures. He identified the various members of the Kane family and provided endless information and stories about the family. We worked together for years on the website which unfortunately discontinued this year.
