I was very saddened to hear of Ciaran’s recent passing. I was one of Ciaran’s lecturers during his time at ATU Donegal. I greatly enjoyed having Ciaran in my class. He was always willingly to participate in class and share his interesting insights on various topics. My sincerest condolences to the Aiken family. May he rest in peace.

I knew Ciaran from my time in St. Eunan’s College. We didn’t really know each other or chat much at all as I was in the year or two above him but I do have memories of playing Chess at lunch times with Ciaran. I’m devastated to hear of his passing.
