Ciarán MURPHY

It's near Christmas and I have just heard of Ciaran's death. I know that he was in his 90's but it seemed to me that he would go on forever. He was such a lovely gentleman. Regilars in Stradbrook will truly miss him. Please Murphy family accept my sincere condolence on Ciaran's death. May he rest in peace.

Many great memories from Blackrock RFC, Stradbrook, a gentleman and always (with Marie) asked about my own mother as neighbours. Always a wise word after a match whispered in your ear. Deepest sympathy to Ronán, Conor, Daragh and Orla. I last met both of them I'd say 2019 having lunch in Elm Park.

Very sorry to hear of Ciaran’s death. He and Marie were stalwarts at a very convivial table for Wine Club events in Elm Park over the years and he was great company at other events. I knew Marie well too, as a devoted member of and contributor to the Thursday Book Club, also in Elm Park. They will both be sorely missed……and by nobody more than their extended family.
