Hello again - wanted to share a memory of Claire - who, before 2016, I never knew existed as a relative, or at all. I learned of her and called her. I introduced myself and said we are related (I am Delia's granddaughter). I said I was visiting Ireland. She immediately invited us to dinner, and within a few weeks we were in her home, with Harry and had an absolute blast.
WE enjoyed their company thoroughly. The next time we came, we all went out for - yes, some gin, at a nearby bar before we caught our train. I will never forget her, Harry, or their wonderful hospitality. That is coming from the other side of the pond!!!!!

Saddened by Claire’s passing. Such happy memories of fun nights had with the Friday drivers. Claire was a warm hearted and fun loving lady. May she rest in peace. My condolences to all the family

Claire was such a wonderful person with a great love for life. She was an excellent golfer and even until recently a skillful putter and a welcome addition to every team. She was a pleasure to be with and will be very much missed by all her friends in the Friday Drivers Golf Society.

I have some lovely and enchanting memories of my 1st Cousin Claire. She was always a great joy to meet and have such good fun with. She was a tremendous company -- never stuck for a word or amusement at any situation. I loved our time together two years ago. Condolences to you Harry, Barbara-Anne, Joanne, Harry Jnr, and her brother Freddie. I doubt that I'll make it to the funeral but she'll have my prayers.
