My deepest condolences to John, Nicholas, Ellen, Inez and May. I knew Clodagh for over 40 years and she was the best friend anyone could wish for, always listening to understand and so wise in her responses. Clodagh had a genuine interest in people and always wished the best for them, while bearing her own suffering with such grace and dignity. Wonderful memories of our times together, I will miss you and hold you in my heart until we meet again Clodagh.

My deep sympathies to Clodagh's family. I had not seen Clodagh for many years, but we were good friends in primary school in Dundalk. I always remember being envious that she got a Blue Peter badge and I just got a postcard from them although we wrote to the BBC around the same time! I also remember us, in her house, talking about the pen pals that we both had in other countries - especially the boys. I was sorry that we lost touch when we went to different secondary schools.
