On behalf of mum, Dave, Brendan and myself we would like to thank everyone for such lovely comments and kind words. I know we will get great comfort reading these in time.

You had the best send off we could possibly of given you in the circumstances and so many tears outweighed by laughter. You would of loved every minute of it with all your friends and close family, you would have been so so proud of mum as you always were and Brendan did you really proud.

Seven weeks have nearly passed and it would be nice to say it gets easier but I don’t believe it ever will. You’ll always be in my heart every minute of every day and it really does feel like part of our jigsaw is missing. Love and miss you more than you know and the one comfort I have is Is that you knew the three of us loved you and we know you loved us. Lots of love ‘ your baby sis’ Mark, Dan and Grace xx

“Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate
And though I oft have passed them by
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.”

Colin,

We were shocked and saddened to hear the news of your passing. Our paths didn't cross much through life but one memory that sticks out in my mind going back years when we visited your family in London and my Mam and Dad brought us to see you in Great Ormond Street Hospital and your Dad, Noel brought you out onto the balcony and we waved up at you for what seemed like ages. We are waving now again - may you rest in peace and watch over the rest of us left behind. Maureen, Suzanne, Gerard, Paula and Keith O'Brien.

My dear big brother. You didn’t deserve any of this. We are absolutely broken but find the bit of comfort knowing you are no longer in pain. You truly are an inspiration in how strong and hard you battled through until you had no strength left. I’m just so sorry I kept asking you to keep fighting. You protected me even up until your last breath. May you rest in peace and continue to laugh and dance with the angels. Love you’re little sis! Xx
