When I started working in secondary 2016, Colm was the colleague who helped me a lot, you just knew he would be there for you with his kindness and knowledge.
I was impressed with his organisation skills - very useful when planning school trips. I have fond memories of him when going to Ireland with 81! students and also to London a couple of times.
It is with great sadness I heard about Colm's passing.
I will never forget him.
May he rest in peace.

There are no words to describe the impact Colm had on me and hundreds of other pupils during our secondary years. He gave everything. The selfless joy he felt when seeing his students reach their full potential in all parts of life was indescribable. So very sad to hear the news of Mr Kehoe’s untimely passing. I was one of his history classes during his HDip year in Christ King, Cork and we absolutely adored him. His enthusiasm, his engaging nature, his hilarious tricks to get us all involved….those memories will stay with me forever. He gave up so much of his time for us, even outside of school hours, bringing us to the city library for local history projects and showing us around the historic city sites on Saturday afternoons. His passion for teaching was so evident from the day he started in Christ King. It’s touching to read the huge impact he had on so many and I’m proud to have been one of the lucky ones to have been taught by him. My condolences to his family and friends. May he Rest In Peace.
— Maeve Dooly

It is with great sadness that I learned of Mr Colm Keno's passing. I am so eternally grateful for all the opportunities, experiences and learnings he provided throughout the years, and am convinced I would not have been the same person, and would not have discovered the world in the same light.
I know his memory will be kept alive by all people that had the honor to work with him, inside and outside the classroom. Rest In Peace.

Colm started a debate culture at EEB2. Because of him a lot of students learn to express their beliefs or ideas amongst others who obviously have another opinion. This is a real achievement and a benefit in our goal to emancipate students. Colm was a very kind colleague. It was always a pleasure to speak with him.

You passed away that early, having still so much to give and to share.
We as the European School Brussels II had the chance to have you among us during 4 years as the inspiring teacher you were.
Your always positive attitude and your authentic and convincing character allowed you to spread your enthusiasm into the hearts of the pupils and to get them this way actively involved in their own learning as in shaping their own life.
They will miss you.
We will miss you.

Thank you, Colm

With drive, enthusiasm and dedication, he gave his all to the school, especially in the areas of debating and media and has left his mark on all who met him. He will be very much missed.

Colm was such a wonderful colleague. I knew him because he ran (he was) the Media Club. He made it work because he was always there for everyone who came. He would also support all the concerts and events so despite being in the Secondary School, his caring presence was also felt in Primary. Colm left us in Brussels the best expression of himself, and I remember him with great fondness. Sincere condolences to all those he has left behind.

Mr Kehoe was truly one of the best teachers I have ever had. He genuinely cared about each of his students and he put so much of his time and effort into organising extracurricular activities such as debate clubs, competitions and, most significantly, the Brussels MUN.
He always encouraged me to pursue my passions and dreams and gave everyone at EEBII the opportunity to experience an education outside of the school curriculum.
He introduced me to public speaking and debating and instilled in me a love for them, something I cannot and will never get the opportunity to thank him for.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends. xx
— Roisin Northcote - EEBII

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Colm. I had the privilege of being part of a group of teachers in the ETSS Community all around Ireland who were led by Colm through his extraordinary organisation of the ETSS Debating Competition and the Wicklow Model United Nations Competition. Colm led us all through these competitions with kindness, generousity, passion and professionalism and this is turn brought much joy and an intrigue in politics and the world around us to all our students who were lucky enough to be part of these events especially through the difficult Covid years.
Many thanks Colm. May he rest in peace.
— Anna Gillespie, Teacher, Goatstown ETSS
My deepest condolences to the Kehoe family on the untimely death of Colm. Mr Kehoe was my teacher back in 1990 in Cork he was doing his Hdip at the time. He taught me maths and history and he made such an impact on mysrlf and the whole class, he made learning inclusive and fun, he was away ahead of his time. Only recently myself and a classmate were talking about him this is the kinda impact he had on us. I also remember on a Friday morning he would fly in on his high nelly worse fot wear after a few the night before, we thought he was great fun as 1st year girls. May he rest in peace and thank you Mr Kehoe for my love of maths and history
