Dear Marese,

Sympathy from Liz & me on the occasion of your Dad, Frank's death recently. Franke certainly scored very well on the age longitudinal scale. He has now slipped away gracefully, and I hope peacefully, and will live on in the lives of you all for many years to come.

It was with sad feelings that I heard from Marese of dear Frank's passing. I got to know him while attending Sketching / Drawing classes in Dundrum. We had great fun while we were there and beloved Frank was the ''victim'' of lots of my, (and other's) poking fun and he took it real well and he usually had great replys.. It was all in fun and no offence was ever intended. Lovely dear man.
May his gentle soul rest in heavenly peace in the company of his dear wife, all the angels and saints.
— Sean Fagan. Sketching Class.
Well, what a pleasure Uncle Frank was to be around. We always looked forward to seeing him and Auntie Philomena. His greeting was a smile and the warmest of handshake. As a young child I stayed with the “Cuz’s” for a few weeks and did my chores and ate my peas !! I clearly remember, Uncle Frank would come home, in his full uniform, and first thing he would do, is kiss Auntie Philomena - forever loved her, long after her passing, now together!! A beacon of how to live your life. Finally, well done to Dundrum Gym, who game him free membership when he turned 80, little did they know, forever a bargain hunter !! We
Love you Uncle Frank, you set the standard.
Ciarán.

Truly one of life’s greats is how Id describe Frank Fleming. There are few people you meet in life who are “heroes”, and for me Frank Fleming was one of them. I have so many treasured memories of Frank while I often frequented the Flemings house while growing up - his humour, his magic tricks, his warm welcome. In more recent times his regular visits to our late Mum where Id often be. Yes truly one of lifes greats. We were all blessed to have not only known him but to be related to him. No doubt he is now soldiering on to the next part of his journey … and meet with his Beloved Wife Philomena … I salute you Uncle Frank … Go n’eiri an bothar leat …
— Sean M Kelly, Sheila Kelly & Family
