Dear Liz,

At our lunch breaks in Park House, you spoke often of your family life with your beloved Colum and your beautiful girls (and of course your dear mother RIP). It is heartbreaking that you have suffered such loss at such a young age, (including the loss of your own good health).
Please know that your colleagues are sending love and hoping you find strength to cope with so much trauma. Peace and love.

It's just about forty years since I last met Colum when I managed Kilbegnet and we worked together for a few days. I still recount a story Colum told me from his earlier childhood regularly. Colum was still so warm and hospitable when I visited at the end of September in spite of being unwell - yes, his was the best 'toastie'. His mischief and smile were always there. Dearest Liz, Angela, Neisha, Rachel and Georgia, along with the wider Hanley family and many friends across the world, Colum will be missed and remembered with love. Our hearts are heavy and we hold you up in prayer.
