Conor FARRELLY

For his leaving cert Conor read The Great Gatsby. The protagonist is described as having "one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it". Conor had such a smile and such a memorable presence that he will never be forgotten by anyone who had the privilege of meeting him.

I taught Conor in 5th Class, my last class before becoming Principal, and I remember him as a cheerful, diligent and kind pupil, always willing to lend a hand. May Conor rest well in the arms of the angels and may he continue to strengthen you, his family, in the days and weeks ahead.

I was lucky enough to work with Conor but I unfortunately never got to really know him, in the short period of time that I worked with Conor he taught me so much . It was supposed to be the other way round! He was just a genuine pure soul, always positive, never gave up. May he rest in peace

I’m very sad to hear of Conor’s passing my deepest condolences, I was lucky enough to meet and spend our college years together. Conor was was a great friend a true gentleman.

I was very saddened to hear of the news of Conor's earlier today. Conor was a wonderful and able student in Bolton Street. He was a natural leader and class representative during his studies on our Quantity Surveying degree. I always found him to be such a pleasant and hard working young man. He is a credit to his mum and dad. A wonderful young man. I am somewhat lost for words at this time. As discipline lead of Quantity Surveying in TU Dublin please accept my deepest condolences at this very sad time. May he rest in peace.
