Ah Cormac, you were always ahead of the pack, you flew through life with such grace and gusto and now we are left in the gap grasping treasured memories of your bright shining light. You gave so much to so many, especially to those closest to your love. May they be nurtured by the beauty of the man gone much too soon.

I have so many fine memories of Cormac from our days in short pants and he flashing that silver tooth, ah what a smile - it never dimmed- to the seriously sound man who could waltz with paupers and princes and leave both enamoured with his honesty and warmth.
We had such a good chat at our 40th school reunion and vowed to keep in touch. I will replay that hug and backslap until our next meeting.
I'll miss him and will cherish the fond memories and immense respect I held him in.
Also the ease of his being, his humility and that broad smile.
I'll remember too, his drive, and his desire to leave no one behind who was honest on endeavour.
A prince who's light was bright, powered by honour and decency.

To Laura, Fiona, Andrew, Jean and David, to Bernard, Marie and Orla and all his family and friends: 'Life is a path lit only by the light of those you’ve loved.’ He was so well loved and spread his cloak to reach so many who enjoyed the gift of his love, kindness and warmth.
Bless him and bless you all. -A privilege to call him friend.
Thanks Cormac.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.
