So sorry ro hear that your beloved Uncle Dan has passed away. Having heard the stories about him for many years, I finally had the pleasure of meeting him in Glounthaune during what turned out to be the last week of his life. The stories were all confirmed- an utter gentleman, warm, kind, so interested in the world. I heard great stories about his world travels and am sad that I won't get a chance to hear more.
