I can safely say that I never experienced a dull moment with Danny, he always brought a positive energy and was just a pleasure to be around. He lived a life full of adventure and served as a true inspiration to live life to its fullest. I will forever cherish the adventures we shared. Rest in peace Danny

My thoughts and prayers will be for a family i have had the pleasure of knowing and competing against on the river barrow for many a year, danny was a phenomenal aquatic human being to say the least and more so a pure gentleman, MAY HE REST IN PEACE ❤️

Sincere condolences to Tommy and the O'Brien family, I met Danny through DIT canoe club, and enjoyed many great days on the river(when I wasn’t late as Danny would always mention) and off it.

Danny was always happy to lend a hand on the water to my local scout group whenever needed and would be the first to accept any invite to reggae gig’s in town id I would be heading too.

Dannys energy was always infectious and spread throughout any group he was out with.
