Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Daphne's husband and all the Maguire family. A very sad time for you all. Cherish and enjoy the memories you have of her. It's a long time since we've seen Daphne but all of us remember her dry sense of humour. Thinking of you all, Adrian, Eileen, Maureen, Robbie, John & Paul with love & light. Tommy, Maeve & Clare Irwin (The Flats)
— Clare Irwin
My sincere condolences to all Daphne’s family, especially her husband & step daughter.
To Eileen & Maureen (not forgetting her three brothers, nieces & nephews), my deepest sympathies to you all on the passing of Daphne.
I’m thinking of the photo of the three little Maguire sisters all dressed in their Sunday-best with bows in their hair that I saw in Eileen’s home- three strikingly beautiful little girls. The closeness of those sisters remained despite distance & the passage of time. In fact ALL of the Maguire family are close. They were raised to have strong family values. This translated into loyal friendships between all six siblings.
Eileen your love for Daphne was obvious.
You enjoyed having the family together each Christmas.
I recall your upset when you first learned of Daphne’s illness & how concerned you were. I know your heart is broken. Sending you my love, sympathy & condolences.
Una (and Kev also)
