I have just heard the sad news and wish to express my condolences to Dara's parents and her partner. I lectured Dara in Physics at TCD. She did not have an easy time here, but I always enjoyed our conversations.

A rare diamond. Why is it that one so young and with a true social conscience leaves us so soon. She will be sadly missed but remembered by all she spent her life fighting for. So sad. May she now Rest in Peace.

From a activist too a. True activist too. Dara who voiced for. Those who could not voice for themsevelves .dara spoke out and was never afraid of the other side of the political spectrum .from jobstown to water charges to homelessness to anything that infringed anyone human rights .wot dara did many many would be afraid to do ..she fought and survived with respect dignity. Humour .and fought life and took it on ten fold but was always on the frontline .we..as activists will Remember u with honour pride and respect ..may u rest in peace with. The angels around u ..the voice of yours we will carry on to voice for. That can't .amazing women who fought a lot in life but came back fighting with the true activism spirit R.IP
