I myself did not know darragh. I did feel I knew him through my sister jenny, always talking with such pride about him.
Anna I got to know over the years, again through her very special friendship with jenny.
I have no words to express my sorrow for the family.
The funeral mass was amazing and so many people there to support family and friends. My heart broke over and over to see young men hold each and cry on each other's shoulders.
Liam got up to speak about darragh. His opening words started with Liam saying "it was not the way things should be, it should not be him burying his son, it should be the other way around". These words I will always remember. Well I can tell you Liam became the soldier today, he stood up with such pride along with a broken.
I hope and pray the family especially Liam and Ann will find strength to carry on and keep darragh alive in their thoughts. ♥️
