Myself and David returned to education in National College of Ireland at the same time in 2009 and thereafter we became the two elder statesmen of that cohort. We collaborated on most assignments and projects together. He was highly intelligent and wouldn’t allow any problem to get the better of him. And many of us benefited from his talents and enthusiasm for technology. He’ll be sadly missed. Sincerest sympathies and condolences to his sister, extended family, colleagues and friends.
