He was a true gent, a consummate professional, and a great friend. Alas, another taken far too early. Life can be very cruel. RIP Dave.

I am so sorry to hear that Dave has passed away. I have so many funny happy memories of our badminton days growing up together. He was always smiling and so chilled out and took everything in his stride. Our paths crossed again as adults as both our three nieces play camogie together, he was so proud of them. Dave was an absolute gentleman and always a most welcomed visitor to our department in St. James’s Hospital. He looked after so many of our sleep patients.
