Now rejoined with Lucie.
— Michael Brennan, London
Very sad to think of David not being here anymore.

Always a loyal, attentive and loving friend to our family.

So glad you made it out to see us in these last years.

And that you made it back to your beloved home at the end.

You will be missed, and remembered, with love and fondness.
— Carolyn Brennan
David was a lovely, loving, kind and fair person, we think of him fondly and will forever remember him dearly.
I became a better person after meeting David, he gave us invaluable advice and showed us the true meaning of perseverance.

Glad you made it home David.
God bless
Rest in Peace

I look back on memories of my namesake and relative with great fondness. The last time I saw him he took me on such an adventure to a local botanic garden where he used to work. He insisted on taking me on his favourite route by car. I said I thought we should just walk it when it became a narrow path but he had other notions. Evidently he used to walk it and figured the car could get through. We wound our way through increasingly tight turns, getting out periodically to attempt to guide him past obstacles. Eventually, after knocking down some poles and things we got to a dead end at the river. He was forced to turn round in a narrow space. He refused to let me drive, so the destruction that ensued was legendary with a swathe of tire tracks and knocked over poles and lights receding into the past! After that he took me for my first ever lobster. He was fixated on thinking that I would get stopped by the police and have my newly acquired and unregistered van confiscated. I see persistence runs in the family! I'll miss his quirkyness, personableness and husky voice.
