Sad to hear of David's passing - we shared golfing holidays & a few drinks with David & Clodagh many times. Condolences to all the family. Rest-in-peace friend.

May I offer my deepest sympathies to you all. David was always the perfect gentleman and I have wonderful memories of growing up in Clontarf and popping into Furlongs. While still in school I was one of his 'part-timers' and he always treated me and all his staff with respect and kindness.

Sorry to learn of David's passing. Going to furlongs shop was part of my life growing up in Clontarf in the fifties and sixties.
