It is with great sadness that I beleatedly read of David's passing. My sadness is tempered with the happiness I feel for the memories of times shared a generation ago. David was a truly remarkable man and I am so pleased I could call him a true friend. Maura and I send Peg our warmest sympathy, and to all his wonderful family, of whom he often spoke about so proudly. Our thoughts are with you all.

I’m so sad and sorry to hear of uncle David’s death.
When I heard the news, I took a major trip down memory lane. I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world to have him as my godfather. I loved Sunday nights when he came to pick auntie Peg up and all the fun times together. What a great long life he lead.
Thinking of all of you,
Much love,
Ann-marie
