I got to know David well in the last few years while staying in Brooklawn. He was a lovely man and we had some great chats. My sympathies to all the family.

David was a warm and much valued respected neighbour, fellow parishioner and sailor. It was always a joy to have had a banter with him about Ireland's and Leinster's latest Rugby exploits after Sunday Mass. He will be much missed. May he rest in peace.
