So sorry to hear of the passing of David, deepest sympathy to Ruth, Robert, David, Barry and Peter. David and Dora (or Mr. and Mrs. Mac as I have known them for all my life) were wonderful next door neighbours to our family for over 50 years. In particular, their support of my mother in her latter days helped her to stay in her own home for as long as possible - no words can express how much this meant to us all. David was a total gentleman - thinking also of Dora, Joy and Andrew.

David was the first person to introduce himself to us when we first moved into our house opposite. He adopted us in many ways looking out for our interests when we were away and even frightening off some characters who were up to no good at the side garden. A true gentleman and family friend. We ll miss the chats and friendly wave. May David rest in peace. He deserves it.
