Dearest condolences on the sad passing of David. He will be sorely missed by all his colleagues at Round Hall / Thomson Reuters and for all his dedication and commitment to the Irish Law Times journal over the past 25 years.

I was very saddened to hear the news of David's sudden passing. I dealt with him in his Canada Life days. He was a complete gentleman and a wonderful legal colleague. Sincere sympathies to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I worked with David on the Canada Life Boards and always found him to be a consummate gentleman, always willing to help and to resolve any issues. David was an ‘old school’ gent with an incredible turn of phrase. David looked out for everyone and was very respectful of everyone no matter what their position. I’m still reeling from the news of David’s untimely passing.
I have known David for the past 30 years as a friend and colleague. He was editor of the Irish Law Times since 1997. I have worked with him on the journal for the past 26 years. Through his industry and expertise he steered the journal on a steady course during this period. He will be greatly missed.

David was a wonderful friend and colleague. We had so many laughs thanks to his very sharp wit and wicked sense of humour! He was a gentleman and a very kind and loyal friend to me. He had the ability to lift my spirits even after the shortest lunch break! Mind you he did walk very fast when we walked together and I usually had to trot along beside him! I will remember David always with such fondness. May he rest in peace .
