I was terribly sorry to hear of David’s sudden death. I spent time in CHB ED as an SHO and he was always kind and encouraging. I remember him showing me how to do a proper ABG at about 4am one morning after I’d made a mess of a few on that shift. He was a gentleman. Great fun and a whopper clinician. My sincere condolences to his family and colleagues.
