Denis (Dee) Looney

Sincerest condolences to Denis’ family on his recent passing. He was a thorough gentleman and a lovely person. I got to know Denis over the past number of years while I was out walking my dog and he went for his daily walk. He was a joy to meet and chat to and the odd time join him on his walk.
RIP Denis.

So sorry to hear the news of Denis. He was such a lovely man to meet always - a great mind and a wonderful outlook. He took a great interest in others. We miss him and lovely Daisy on their daily rounds in Kilmacud. Hopefully they are reunited in a better place. Our sympathies to all the family.

Just heard of Dennis's passing. Condolences to the Looney family. We had many a debate on Kerry football matters within Mount Anville Wood and slightly further afield. Also with Daisy and her connection with the famous Limerick hurler Sean Herbert. Paddy O Connor, Mount Anville Wood.

Hi Daisy, Ailish and Denise, I have just heard of the passing of Denis. I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful and gentle man. I am so sorry that it has taken this long for the news to come through. I wish I could have been there for you all.

His legacy was one of kindness, support and leadership to his colleagues and friends in the Post Office. He was admired and loved. May he rest in peace with his beloved wife Daisy.
