I am deeply saddened to hear of Denis' death. He was a role model and became a friend to me during our work for the International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations. Later, we met regularly during the annual ski meets of international pilots. May he rest in peace
I am sorry to hear of Denis' death. Denis was an active participant in the technical work of the International Federation of Airline Pilots Associations and over many years made a great contribution to Air Safety. As well as his technical expertise he was a very likeable man.

Sincere condolences to Mrs. Leonard and all the extended family at this sad time.
We met Dennis on holiday in Spain and helped him to rescue a set of keys that had gone astray in a huge swimming pool. It was only afterwards, that I found out he was Hugh's brother, and he came and met all our family. Lots of lovely chat under the Spanish sun.Typical Irish on holiday really!
