Denis - always so friendly and welcoming - forever a True Gentleman and Friend Supreme to many - with a wonderful smile radiating great goodness, kindness, humour, delight, sincerity and a strong Faith and for whom Family was all-important. Denis had the unique gift of making all those with whom he met feel so special. In the world of cine photography he was way before his time and continued to embrace developing technologies as decades progressed. The fact that Denis's precious film footage is now available on a global basis is one of his many magnificent legacies to future generations. I feel so greatly privileged for not only having met with Denis in Millstreet during the Summer of 2023 but also totally blessed to have had such a hugely memorable conversation with Denis at Mount Desert in June. Denis, blessed with so many talents yet so inspiringly unassuming, has truly enriched the lives of All. God rest his gentle Soul. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
