To Joan and all the family our sincere condolences on the passing of Denis. His sister Kathleen was married to our Uncle John Twomey, Coomecluvane, Coolea, our mother was Joan, (Hannie) and every year we spent our holidays there from London. I remember Denis in The White Heather Band. What an exceptional entertainer he was. In actual fact I was looking at an old tape recently of a party back in Coomecluvane, where our father John Walsh, Denis and Patie Buckley spent the night singing. RIP to them all now. I hope they will have many sessions in Heaven. You are in our prayers at this sad time...... Beautiful memories left behind......Bridget, Margaret, Mary and Martin Walsh, Midleton.

I was sad to miss Denis' ceremony as I had medical appt.
Denis was so central to life at home in Creedon's Hotel in my youth & childhhod.
He was a ray of ppositive energy & lit up each room with his smile at every function for which he played with his band.
He always had a word and a wink for every child who came his way and he would share the magic of his accordian & his technique when Id ask him .
He had a wonderful way with our staff and especially with my Mother and Father ,on these busy days - always adding his unique humour to every moment ,
He leaves many with lovely musical memories ,ughter Margaret was very kind to Dick and to me in the Mater Hospital reception and I send her my deepest sympathies .
