My late, sincere condolences to Mr Treacy's family. He was a big part of my childhood, calling around for insurance and all the chats to evergreen street every week. We were talking about him as a family today. As a precocious child, i thought i was a ballerina and, in later years, any time he met my aunt Rosaire he would always mention it. Always such a lovely man, a good childhood memory, from the hendrick and terry families on evergreen street

I’ve just learned of Mr Treacy’s passing-
May he rest in peace!
We first knew him as children, as our Insurance man but as the years passed and we grew up I knew him as a smiley, kind, gentle man! It was always a pleasure to chat to him as he tended his front garden or if I bumped into him on his way into or out of town (or the Holy Trinity church).
He was kindness and goodness personified. Summerhill South and all who knew him will miss him.

To Teresa, Eileen and extended family. It was a pleasure to know Denis over the last number of years. Denis was a dedicated member of church choirs and we knew him best when he sang in the Latin Mass Choir some years back. He was one of the most cordial people you could meet and we had a few pleasant words after Mass at Holy Trinity just last Saturday. A man with a witty word and a big smile, a man of prayer and service, may he rest in the peace of the Lord.
