Margaret and Alanna, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Derek. May he rest in Peace. Absolutely shocked and heartbroken to learn of his passing. My thoughts & prayers are with you both during this very difficult time. He truly was one of a kind and he will be missed so much but he will never be forgotten. 💔 🙏🏻🦋

I am truly sorry for your loss. Derek was a gem, funny, witty and cheeky. Fond memories of all our sking antics at the Mall in Ballyshannon and further afield . He will be missed by many because of his wonderful character but hopefully in time his legacy will bring a smile to those closet to him. My thoughts are with his Mum and sister Alannah and all his extended family xx

So very sorry to hear of Derek’s passing. I have many fond memories of Derek & the rest of the Danny Boy crew in Weisbaden. I can see his smile & hear is laugh like it was just yesterday. Deepest Condolences to his family.

I met Derek in Wiesbaden Germany when he was managing an Irish ☘️ Pub. I met a lot of other dear friends back in the 90s. I drank a lot back then ,so I was there almost every night. One year Derek came to America 🇺🇸 with me. We drove down to Key West together!! Great memories. RIP my friend.
