Sìncere condolences to all the Bolger family on the sad passing of Dermot. Special condolences to his wife and children, I pray that the love espoused by Dermot's friends will offer some consolation to them. Whenever I met Dermot in Mahon Point he always managed to get his family into the conversation, he was so proud of them and it was obvious that he loved them dearly. I met Dermot's grandad when I was a young boy back in the 1940's and he would have been so proud of his wonderful grandson. Having worked with Dermot for quite a few years I can honestly say that I am a much better person for having known him. Rest easy my friend, heaven will benefit hugely from your presence. God bless and comfort the Bolger family at this difficult time.

I worked with Dermot for 12 years and he was an absolute gentleman, everyone was so fond of him. Dermot will be missed by all of his colleagues. Dermot had a kindness and gentleness that came out every day, mixed with a great sense of humor and a very positive nature. We are all devastated. Mahon Point will not be the same without his sunny disposition. He spoke so highly of his family and was so proud of you all. We will forever cherish the memories we have of him. May he rest in peace.

"I", like many that knew Dermot have some great memories working with him in SB as he was never shy for a bit of uncanny adventurous fun to livened up the place which some of us still employed in SB (now GSK) occasionally chat and laugh about even years after he moved on to the Cork side and now to his heavenly family which will certainly brighten up when Dermot arrives.
Such as these fun loving memories were that they will remain with us forever..

John delivered a very fitting tribute for which he would have been proud.
