Dermot (Derry) Murray

Mary and Anthony please accept our sincere condolences on the sad passing of Dermod the Murray’s were always a big part of our growing up, I so remember going to blarney st on that little saddle in front of dad before heading to ballinlough Michael and myself had covid the wk of Dermot’s passing so we sadly were unable to attend.

Absolutely devastated to learn of Dermot's passing. Sincere condolences to Mary, Anthony and all the family. A true gentleman, great colleague,
always in good humour, an absolute methodical worker and great conversationalist who regaled us with many tales of his experience in his early years in UCC of which he had accumulated almost 50years service when he retired. He will be sadly missed but always remembered with fond affection. An absolute pleasure and privelidge to have known and worked closely with him for the latter two decades of his time in UCC. May he Rest in Peace.
