What a lovely man Dermot was. I worked in the classroom next to Dermot in Dundrum, he was always in good form and willing to give a hand when needed and advice to me as a young teacher. Sadly missed.

Those were the days my friends ...Mairin always serene and smiling; clucking over her own brood and keeping a watchful eye on her many nephews and nieces who got together when the Nolans arrived for a Shannonside break; Dermot, her Rock, unobtrusive in the background, keeping everything under control, at a distance......
