Very saddened at the passing of Des.
During numerous visits to London in the 1980s Des' brother Hugh and myself attended many soccer matches and cup finals in most of that city's football grounds thanks to tickets arranged by Des. And premium tickets to boot! What a great treat it was! With Des on your side you'd never come up short! And whose name is indelibly linked to Dundalk F.C. Not just a great football man but, more importantly, a great family man who has left an absolute top drawer legacy.
Will be very sorely missed.
May he rest in peace.
