On behalf of us all at Sunnyside Medical Centre, I would like to pass on our deep condolences to Michéal, Máire, Des and Eugene on the sad loss of your dad Des. I was fortunate to have worked with Des for many years. He was always a kind, courteous and sensitive colleague, and I considered it a real privilege to have known him. He was deeply loved by his patients and he cared so deeply for their wellbeing. Unfortunately, I was not aware of his sad passing until today, and apologise for my late condolences. North Main Street has lost two of its nicest gentlemen in the last week. It will be the poorer for their loss. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
